Radio Frequency Vacuum Kiln: $2/bdft. High Tech High-Precision for sensitive hardwood and delicate projects. 3,500 BDFT minimum. The wood is placed in a sealed vacuum chamber, and the barometric pressure significantly dropped, allowing moisture to evaporate at a lower temperature. Additionally, radio frequency heating generates heat throughout the wood, ensuring uniform temperature distribution throughout the lumber.
Conventional Wood-Fired Kiln: 400 BDFT minimum. $2/bdft.
